Sharing a concern
Motorsport should be fun. Everyone should feel safe, enjoy the sport and everyone should be treated with respect.
If you have a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child you MUST report it to the Club Safeguarding Officer or the Motorsport UK Safeguarding Team
There are a number of ways to report a concern:
- To your Club Safeguarding Officer (CSO) – please find out from your club who this person is.
- To Motorsport UK directly – you can do this by calling 01753 765000 and asking for a member of the Safeguarding Team or by emailing safeguarding@motorsportuk.org
- If you need urgent advice and you cannot contact your Club Safeguarding Officer or Motorsport UK, you can call the NSPCC 24-hour helpline on 0800 800 5000.
- If it is an emergency and someone is at immediate risk, then call the Police or Children’s Social Work Service in the area the person at risk lives in.
Club Safeguarding Officers and other Motorsport UK personnel, please use the Motorsport UK referral form linked below as this is very useful in gathering the required details and can help with creating a referral.
