Competitors are the lifeblood of UK motorsport, whether they are taking part in humble club meetings at grassroots level or the headline events of Motorsport UK British Championships. There are around 30,000 Motorsport UK Competition Licence holders, with thousands more competitors affiliated to their local motor clubs.
The UK has always enjoyed a reputation for producing many of the world’s top competitors. British drivers have won more Formula 1 titles than any others, and this country also continues to produce world championship contenders across sports cars, touring cars, rallying and more.
