As the year draws to a close, the Scottish Association of Motor Sports Clubs would like to extend warm festive wishes to everyone who makes our sport so special across Scotland.
From competitors and officials to volunteers, marshals, organisers, clubs, families, and supporters, your passion, commitment, and camaraderie continue to shape motor sport in every corner of the country, from the Highlands and Islands to the Borders and our towns and cities.
2025 has once again shown the strength of Scottish motor sport. Through challenging weather, demanding events, and long days on the stages, hills and circuits, the Scottish motor sport community has come together with resilience, respect, and a shared love of competition. The dedication shown by clubs and volunteers, often working quietly behind the scenes, is the foundation on which our sport stands.
At this time of year, we also remember those who are no longer with us and recognise the importance of looking after one another, on and off the track. Motor sport in Scotland is more than events and results, it is a community built on friendship, teamwork, and pride in where we come from.
However you celebrate the festive season, whether with family, friends, teammates, or in quieter moments of reflection, we hope this time brings you warmth, comfort, and moments of peace.
We look forward to the year ahead with optimism and excitement, as we continue to support our clubs, encourage new participants, and celebrate the rich heritage and future of motor sport in Scotland.
On behalf of the Scottish Association of Motor Sports Clubs, we wish you and your families a peaceful Christmas, a restful break, and a safe and successful New Year when it comes. We look forward to seeing you all out at an event in 2026.
Slàinte mhath and season’s greetings.
