Graham has been actively involved in motorsport since the early 1980s. He started as a flag marshal but soon become involved as a competitor although he still keeps a hand in marshalling on both road and stage rallies and occasionally hillclimbs.
His competition activities started with Autotests, Hillclimbs, Sprints, Production Car Trials and Navigational Rallies. When Historic Rallying started up in the late 1980s he soon became involved with that and has competed in many such events on both road and stage, mainly as a navigator, but also as a driver, and has competed all over the UK as well as in Ireland and on the Continent.
Graham is a member of the Historic Technical Committee at Motorsport UK.
He is also involved in the organisation of many events from grass roots club events through to stage rallies.
