Rally Marshals Training

Get ready for a full-throttle day behind the scenes of stage rallying!

The Scottish Association of Motor Sports Clubs, Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club, and Highland Car Club have organised an action-packed training day in preparation for the legendary Snowman Rally in February.

Running from 9am to 4pm, the day will combine classroom sessions with hands-on outdoor stage rally training. Whether you are brand new or a seasoned marshal, this is your chance to sharpen your skills and be part of what makes rallies happen.

New recruits will be fully prepped for their first rally season, while experienced volunteers will refresh and advance their knowledge with the latest marshalling skills and Motorsport UK guidelines. It’s completely free to attend, with coffee and lunch included.

You will spend the day learning from rally people, working in real-world scenarios, and gaining practical experience at the heart of motorsport.

Training modules include Stage Setup, Advanced Timing, Spectator Management, and First on Scene response.

Attendance counts towards grade maintenance or upgrade requirements for Motorsport UK licence holders on the Marshals’ Pathway, making this an unmissable opportunity to get involved, level up, and fuel your rally passion.
