Motorsport Emergency Responder Webinar: the standards and legislation shaping event medical provision

These online training sessions are primarily aimed at those involved in a first response role at incidents.

Each session will last for around 90 minutes and you’ll receive a certificate as evidence of attendance.

Attendance at these webinars counts towards that annual CPD commitment, providing structured, evidence-based learning that supports clinical and operational development.

As some of the seminars will be focused on the operational and medical issues with the response to the incidents, the sessions are restricted to Motorsport UK licenced Medical, Rescue and Recovery personnel in order to respect confidentiality. We appreciate that there are others who have an interest but given the nature of the discussion we do need to limit the attendance. Licence numbers will be verified before your registration is confirmed.

This session will look at some of the key standards and legislation shaping event medical provision and will cover the Event Healthcare Standard, the regulation of event medical cover in England and across the UK, and the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (also known as Martyn’s Law), including what these developments mean in practice for those involved in planning and delivering cover at motorsport events.
