Introduction to Race Marshalling

Motorsport has many disciplines, all with slightly different rules, regulations and things that marshals need to be aware of for the event to run safely. Get a basic awareness of your role as a Marshal at race events, how to ensure your personal safety, and acquire a basic understanding of the organisational structure of a race meeting.

This session is suitable for new marshals and anyone wanting a refresher, but it will be of particular benefit to those wanting to upgrade from Registered Marshal to Grade 1 Race Marshal on the Marshals’ Development Pathway.

This is a Motorsport UK training module and counts towards grade maintenance or upgrade requirements for Motorsport UK licence holders.
