SUMMARY:Safeguarding: Professional Responsibility in Operational Environments
DESCRIPTION:This session outlines safeguarding responsibilities for motorsport rescue crews and healthcare professionals. It covers recognising concerns\, responding appropriately to disclosures\, maintaining professional boundaries\, and following correct reporting and escalation pathways. \nThese online training sessions are primarily aimed at those involved in a first response role at incidents. \nEach session will last for around 90 minutes and you’ll receive a certificate as evidence of attendance. \nAttendance at these webinars counts towards that annual CPD commitment\, providing structured\, evidence-based learning that supports clinical and operational development. \nAs some of the seminars will be focused on the operational and medical issues with the response to the incidents\, the sessions are restricted to Motorsport UK licenced Medical\, Rescue and Recovery personnel in order to respect confidentiality. We appreciate that there are others who have an interest but given the nature of the discussion we do need to limit the attendance. Licence numbers will be verified before your registration is confirmed. \nRegister at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_VSzKU5eORlGu_EHTewsQFg \nShare this:

SUMMARY:Rally Marshals Training
DESCRIPTION:Ahead of the iconic Jim Clark Rally in May\, the Scottish Association of Motor Sports Clubs\, Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club\, and the rally organisers are running a training day on Saturday 25 April in Duns. \nTaking place from 9am to 4pm\, the programme blends classroom learning with practical outdoor stage rally training. Open to both newcomers and experienced marshals\, the day offers a great opportunity to build confidence\, refine skills\, and play a key role in making rallying possible. \nThose new to marshalling will receive full preparation for their first rally season\, while experienced volunteers can refresh and extend their knowledge in line with the latest marshalling practices and Motorsport UK guidelines. The training is completely free\, with coffee and lunch provided. \nYou will spend the day learning from rally people\, working in real-world scenarios\, and gaining practical experience at the heart of motorsport. \nTraining sessions cover Introduction to Rally Marshalling\, Closed Road Rallying\, Spectator Safety and Management\, and First on Scene response. \nAttendance also counts towards grade maintenance or upgrade requirements for Motorsport UK licence holders on the Marshals’ Pathway\, making this a fantastic chance to get involved\, develop your skills\, and deepen your passion for rallying. \nSign up at https://forms.gle/27MoNasFoXJxog2B9 \nNote:\nThis event has been rescheduled from the originally advertised date of 18 April due to the Kielder Forest Stages Rally taking place that weekend. We are aware of the Be More Colin Super Stage Rally now taking place on 25 April\, however this was the only date on which we were able to secure both a venue and trainers ahead of the Jim Clark Rally. \nShare this:
